Cabernet Sauvignon

The first plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon in the New Word were in Chile, where the grape began producing wines to rival those of its Old World home. In fact, Cabernet Sauvignon is responsible for Chile’s presence on the world wine stage.

With the 2008 vintage, Primus brand introduced its first single varietal wine, Cabernet Sauvignon, from vineyards in Colchagua Valley. Aged in the finest French and American oak for 14 months, this wine is an elegant expression of Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of plum and cassis that lead to rich, ripe red berry fruit flavors.
